Using CharCounter plugin with IE causes Xinha to become intolerably slow.

Under firefox 1.5 everything runs fine, a nice speedy pace. Under Internet Explorer when I have CharCounter plugin loaded, it CRAWLS to the point it is not even usable (Ie: A cut/copy/paste takes 3+ seconds each! Hilighting words takes so long you don't even know what if anything you have hilighted.). I am running a 2.8Ghz machine with 1.5GB RAM, Windows Media Center edition.

This is also the likely culprit if you encounter abysmal speed with Firefox for huge documents. Disabling it made us go from unusable to quick for >50KB files!
