Description (last modified by gogo)

Provide some means for custom tags

<rs:an-empty-tag  />
<rs:a-bunch-of-text>   Fooo Bar    </rs:a-bunch-of-text>

<rs:if value="[someVariable == 'Y' && someOtherVariable != '[1]']">
   <rs:expr name="didSomething" value="[1]"/>
      Do something
   <rs:else>
      Do something entirely different
   </rs:else>
</rs:if>

Currently Xinha doesn't handle these well.

In need this as well. I am guessing the UI to this will involve some sort of "tag" tokens (anyone remember netscape 3.0 GOLD's wysiwyg editor?) and a popup for inserting the code.

I need something of this nature for a XSL stylesheet editor.

I would be willing to work with someone on this one.

Xinha is unlikely to every handle these well because the browsers don't. The best you can hope for in the future is some sort of "shielded code" like PHP code appears in Macromedia Dreamweaver. There is already a ticket for that somewhere.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
