POPups and Avant Browser

Just noticed that the popups gets real messed up when using Avant Browser, can be downloaded for free here : www.avantbrowser.com

Dont know exactly how many people using this browser, but this was a factor that made some of our customers deslike Xinha and love FCKeditor... I just got to the bottom of why it was so, and it was the popups.

I guess there might be a quick fix for this since all popups use same method.

The problem es reproduced by clicking any of the buttons that pops a new window.

Avant Browser, Crasy Browser, ... are IE based Browsers, both uses only tabs no windows that is realy bad!

i never used them.. but ONLY tabs???? strange...

...a solution to this problem would be if all dialogs would use the inline-dialog-system like SuperClean and Linker do allready.

some time ago i was working on a alternative to inline-dialog that allows moving the dialogs around... that is not yet finished...

Well that simply cant be true since FCKeditor works without problems in it, TineMCE also works fine and finally HTMLarea v3.0 RC2 fails badly... So the Xinha team can probably rest asure this is an old bug, hehe. (How nice, throwing the blame back on the old developers which have done a real great job!)

So, there is a way to pop up theese windows without a hassle. I also notice that FCKeditor/TinyMCE pops the windows really quick compared to the Xinha/HTMLarea windows which looks sluggish compared.

i just downloaded avantbrowser... its working much like opera.

and i found that the xinha-popups actually work! (i tested the insert-link) yes, they look ugly - as they are fullscreen - BUT they work!

this bug might not be too hard to fix

Pushing to 2.0. Niko is working on new and better dialog system, so probably can use that to solve the problem (by having "layer style" popups instead of "real" ones)
