Hi,

I'm using xinha with the plugin SmartReplace?, the problem is: if the current translation doesn't exist for this plugin, a javascript error is display!

I'm unable to reproduce this bug. I've tried setting my language to Italian (which SmartReplace? doesn't have a translation for) and other languages, and SmartReplace? continues to work without showing any JavaScript errors. I've tested this on both IE7 and FF3.

What browser and version of Xinha are you using, and what is the exact error that you're seeing? This information will help in reproducing the bug.

Are you referring to the 404 message shown in Firebug?

I attach the javascript error, xinha is integrated into a wysiwyg editor module for zikula (a framework).

I just checked out version 999, set my language to French, and still didn't see the error with SmartReplace? turned on. (I did notice that the list of plugins in the default XinhaConfig.js was screwy and changed it so only SmartReplace? was on, though I didn't see the error in either case). I too am using FF3.

Does the error show up when you load Xinha, or only when you open the SmartReplace? dialog?

I'll be on the Xinha IRC channel (#xinha) for the next little bit if you want to stop by and talk about this in real-time.

The error show up when I load Xinha. I'll ask the person who wrote the wysiwyg to read this ticket.

I have looked in XinhaCore?.js why and when this error message is thrown, and it is only when a language file exists, but is faulty. So my guess is your programmer has created a translation, but the format is not right.

By the way, if you can correct the error, you can do the community a favour and share the translation
