ImageManager / ExtendFileManager Not returning Post Data

I have been developing a basic page editor locally, nothing special, but when I upload to my server, the ImageManager is not returning the data.
This is what is happening;
I want the abillity to add Images to a page, I have set all the config details in ImageManager - - config.inc.php
The ImageManager works correctly, loads images and when I click 'OK'
ON MY LOCAL MACHINE:
the image filename is inserted into the editor, if i click the source HTML button, I see the html code, then when I unclick the HTML button, the image appears in the editor. When submit is clicked, the POST HTML code from the text area is saved. So all is working apart from the glitch with having to click the HTML button to see the Image in the editor.
ON MY REMOTE SERVER:
The editor is working correctly, Clicking OK inserts the Image into the Text Area, (image is visible), but when the POST DATA is saved, the code for the Image is missing, The other thing is that pressing the HTML code view button, this doesn't work and only inserts this character ⁞ into the text area.
I was using the ExtendedFileManager plugin when I found this issue, however I removed it to eliminate the plugin from the problem.
If anyone can address this problem, it would be fantastic, I wish you all a super Christmas time.

var xinha_config = new Xinha.Config();
xinha_config.pageStyleSheets = [ _editor_url + "/editor.css" ];
xinha_editors = Xinha.makeEditors(xinha_editors, xinha_config, xinha_plugins);
the required Image appears in the editor (well this is using my online server, localy just the image filename appears
