Description

Hey,

I am building a wiki like app that needs rich text editing. One of the things that I really need is the ability to easily modify the cell width of cells in a table. Normal desktop applications give you ahandle when u onmouseover the border but the only way i can see to get this functionality in xinha is to click the button that edits the cell properties. I can help develop/code the functionality if need be I just need to be pointed in the right direction as to how to achieve that. Basically I was wondering if I can set tables to default to having a 150px width instead of some percent. The problem is I don't know how to capture onmouseover of a cell border (I don't know that its even possible) so I could create a button for the toolbar that changes the mode to edit cell width - then it effectively places a little handle image in the right edge of the cell. When the user clicks and holds on it I grab the initial x position of the mouse and then grab it again when the user releases the mouse and I subtract the two and then apply the difference to the width of that cell column. Please let me know if that is feasible to do and if so what would be the est time to do it and if I can help in some way.

Thanks,
Peter
