new table inside paragraph

Normally each Return creates a new paragraph. The "insert table" button now will create a new table inside the current paragraph, but actually the table tag is allowed only inside these tags:
applet | blockquote | body | button | center | dd | del | div | fieldset | form | iframe | ins | li | map | noframes | noscript | object | td | th

So consequently the new table should appear above or below the current paragraph!
