Serving Xinha Files on central server

Description

I am attempting to host xinha on a central server, much like Yahoo does with YUI ( http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/articles/hosting/) so that my page in www.X.com domain can reference xinha scripts hosted on the scripts.Y.com domain as follows:

    <script type="text/javascript">
         _editor_url  = "http://scripts.Y.com/xinha/0.93/"
        _editor_lang = "en";
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://scripts.Y.com/xinha/0.93/XinhaCore.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="xinha/XinhaConfig.js"></script>

The problem I ran into, is that in IE, manipulation of an iframe with a src that references a different domain is not allowed. So, I override URIs.blank to http://www.X.com/xinha/blank.html, but line 999 of XinhaCore?.js unconditionally preprends the _editor_url as follows:

var _9c=document.createElement("iframe");
_9c.src=_editor_url+_90.config.URIs.blank;

As a temporary solution I stripped out the _editor_url+ bit, but I am interested in alternatives. Please advise.
